Press Release Body: ATLANTA, GA - (January 14, 2008) - ApolloMD is proud to announce a partnership with the Duke Clinical Research Institute, the largest academic clinical research organization in the world, to conduct acute care clinical trials in emergency department patients. Spearheading Emergency Medicine clinical and quality research at Duke is Dr. Seth Glickman, an ApolloMD physician and Consultant on Clinical Quality for ApolloMD.
Duke has the capability to conduct and coordinate a wide range of clinical research studies in the ED, and the studies conducted between ApolloMD and Duke will serve to enhance ApolloMD's evidence base and quality of acute care medicine. This will assist the development of new systems for delivering the highest quality of care for patients at ApolloMD\'s client hospitals.
